RIO-98x0 Introduction
The RIO-98x0 is a modular remote redundant I/O system that consists of 2 redundant power modules, 2 redundant communication modules, and 8 I/O modules for high flexibility and reliability. The power modules support 24VDC (±10%) voltage input, and the dual design ensures stable power supply for RIO-98x0 operation. The communication module provides various Ethernet protocols (e.g. Modbus TCP, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP), a seven-segment display, Micro SD, and RTC (Real Time Clock) functions to display and record the module's operation status in real time.
In terms of I/O modules, the RIO-98x0 can be configured with up to 8 single-reconfigurable modules or up to 4 dual-reconfigurable modules, and supports a wide range of I/O signal types, including analog current and voltage input/output, digital signal input/output, TC/RTD temperature measurement, pulse counting, and HART communication, to meet the needs of different field applications. In addition, all RIO-98x0 modules are equipped with hot-swappable replacement and parameter auto-configuration functions, which are suitable for industrial automation, process control and other fields, ensuring system stability and improving maintenance convenience.

The RIO-98x0 series features a fanless design with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. .
