X702 : a 2-axis expansion board designed for encoder related applications

The X702 is a 2-axis encoder board which can be appended to the 7188XB/EX on applications. The X702 encoder board has XOR logic circuits to select logical level of its inputs and two 24-bit counters for high speed  counting (1M pps max).  It can be used  in the general-purpose position and velocity measurement, the feedback position measurement of motion control, or as the interface of the handwheel input.

ICP DAS's New Product  : I-7231D  CANopen/DCON Gateway  

The I-7231D provides the gateway function of CANopen slave and DCON master. That is, it can offer the communication gateway between CANopen and DCON protocol. From the DCON master site, it can support lots of the I-7K/I-87K series IO modules and automatically map into the object of CANopen slave device during the startup process.  From the CANopen slave site, it stands as the standard device with the CANopen slave function. Based on the CANopen protocol, this device can provide higher communication speed and efficiency, and better function of the data error checking mechanism. Furthermore, it can avoid 2 or more devices start transmitting messages at the same time. In addition, I-7231D can be used in the application of building automation, remote data acquisition, environment control and monitoring, laboratory equipment & research, factory automation, etc.

The I-7241D is one of the CAN series products produced by ICP DAS. It provides a communication protocol transfer the DeviceNet and the DCON protocol. Products Upgrade

he following PIO/PISO series cards will be equipped with an upgraded PCI controller, and will be released soon. The versions of these cards are: 

The old cards and new ones have the same features, the only difference is the H/W ID (PCI Hardware ID). ICP DAS provides new drivers to support both the old and the new cards in the same time. Users just need to upgrade their Apps (application programs) by using the new driver.

*Note: If you have **no** App's source code to build the new program, it's recommended to buy some old-version cards beforehand. You can then have more time to find a better solution.

New Product Available: VXC-142/182i Multi-port Serial Card

The VXC-142 card provides two independent RS-422/RS-485 serial ports, while the VXC-182i card provides one isolated RS-422/485 port and one RS-232 port. It offers speed up to 115.2Kbps and long distance communication link. The VXC series card equips a dip switch to let users define the COM port number faster and easier.

Matlab Driver v1.0 for I-8438/I-8838 is released

Introduction:

I-8438/8838 is the ICP DAS MATLAB Embedded Controller solution built in Ethernet and series interface with I/O expansion slot for Matlab development environment. For this application there are over 20 I/O bridges and system-level Simulink Blocksets have been developed. By using Simulink development environment and these Matlab Driver’s blocksets, control algorithm can be easily constructed and verified without writing any code. Once the algorithm has been verified, by pressing a “build” button, users can convert a model to executable code, and download it to controller for test or practical application by RS232 and Ethernet. Furthermore, engineers can put more focus on advanced control algorithm design and development.

I-7019R: 8-channel Universal Analog Input Module with High Voltage Protection   

The I-7019R is a micro-processor-based instrument for analog inputs.It is an economical solution for voltage, current and thermocouple inputs. Up to 8 analog inputs of different types can be connected to one module. The voltage input can be as low as in the range of +/-15mV and as high as in the range of +/-10V.  No external resistor needed for the current input. 

It accepts type-J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, C, L, M, and L DIN43710 thermocouples. Up to 240Vrms over voltage protection is provided. It also features per-channel open-thermocouple detection.
