Introduction:

The M-7024U/M-7024UD is a multifunction module that includes 4 source type analog output channels, 4 digital input channels and 4 digital output channels. The module provides a programmable output range on all analog output channels (0 ~ +5 V, +/-5 V, 0 ~ +10 V, +/-10 V, +4 ~ +20 mA or 0 ~ +20 mA). Each analog output channel can be configured for an individual output range. The output value for each channel can be set to be stored before the module is powered down, so the last output value can be restored when the module is re-started, and the module also features per-channel open wire detection for +4 ~ +20 mA output channels, ensuring safe driving for current equipment. Each analog output provides 8 kV ESD protection as well as 2500 VDC intra-module isolation. Options for configuring power-on and safe values are also included, providing a stable and reliable working mechanism, even in industrial environments with high noise levels. The M-7024U provides 16-bit resolution analog output, compared to the 14-bit resolution for the M-7024, making the module highly suitable for precise control applications. The source-type current output can be used to directly drive current equipment using common ground wiring without requiring an additional power supply, meaning that wiring is more simple and convenient.
