In order to economically provide more selections for various CAN applications, the PISO-CAN100U-D/T is released, which offers the 5-pin screw terminal connector or the D-Sub 9-pin connector decided by the model number of the board, and inherits the features of the PISO-CAN series products. The PISO-CAN100U-D/T provides a universal PCI bus, and the CAN port of the PISO-CAN100U-D/T is designed by using the NXP SJA1000 CAN controller and the 82C250 transceiver, which follows the ISO 11898-2 specification. The PISO-CAN100U-D/T supports the CAN specification 2.0 parts A and B. Users can apply the PISO-CAN100U-D/T in the applications which use the 11-bit or 29-bit CAN messages for communication. For the baud rate configuration, the PISO-CAN100U-D/T provides eight kinds of predefined baud rate. The user-defined baud rate based on the 16MHz clock of the CAN controller is also allowed for wild range of applications. Owing to the same APIs and utility tool for the PISO-CAN100U-D/T and other PISO-CAN series boards, users can seamless transplant the programs from the PISO-CAN series boards to the PISO-CAN100U-D/T. The PISO-CAN100U-D/T can satisfy various CAN applications, such as CANopen, DeviceNet, J1939 applications, mechanism control, building automation, medical system, factory automation, CAN network analysis and CAN data log, and etc.
