All the functions of Matlab LinCon-8000 are the same with standard LinCon-8000 but it provides an extra function to communicate with Matlab Software. Therefore users have another method to develop LinCon I/O applications by using Matlab/Simulink when users use Matlab LinCon-8000. Now there are over 20 I/O modules and system-level Simulink Blocksets have been supported for this application. The maximum advantage of using Matlab LinCon-8000 is that the LinCon I/O programs will be produced by using Matlab/Simulink without writing any code. Once the model simulates successfully, by pressing ¡§Build¡¨ button, the model will be converted to an executable file automatically. Then download it to Matlab LinCon-8000 for test or practical application via Ethernet interface and the Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) will come true. Through this method, it will be very helpful for engineers to complete the controller algorithm design without knowing anything about the hardware.

  Features

[ Ethernet GUI Communication Interfaces]
The LinCon-8000 gives you the function needed for your control program to download and upload experimental data through Ethernet communication interfaces.
[ Reduce the design cycle of your product]
Matlab_LinCon embedded controller in conjunction with MATLAB/Simulink/Real-Time Workshop & Embedded Coder provides users the model-based control design approach. It is a timesaving and cost-effective approach and allows R&D to work with a single model of a function or a complete system in an integrated software environment.
[ The extensibility of I/O driver blocks]

Matlab_LinCon embedded controller supports the expanded I/O capability with 0, 3, 7 slots. Currently, Matlab_LinCon_Driver provides over 20 I/O blocks to cooperate with Matlab development environment, which including DI, DO, DIO, AI, AO, Relay, and Encoder blocks listed as follows. More I/O blocks will be developed in the future.
Support Target I/O Modules :
AI : 8017H
AO : 8024
DI : 8040, 8051, 8052, 8053, 8058
DIO : 8042, 8054, 8055, 8063
DO : 8041, 8056, 8057
Encoder : 8090
Relay : 8060, 8064
System : SYS_INIT, DataToFile, WriteToEEP, ReadFromEEP

[ The Open Source Code]

The source code produced by Matlab RTW is open for users and users can learn how to write programs in the LinCon or modify it for your specific control program.
