iDS系列產品是ICPDAS新一代智能型設備服務器，配有高效能處理器與彈性化的作業系統，支援Ethernet、Micro SD與序列埠等周邊設備及多樣通訊介面。
該智能型設備服務器可以為RS-232/422/485設備擴充網路連線能力，突破傳統序列埠在距離上的限制。iDS系列內建大容量緩衝記憶體，用以提升網路傳輸效能及緩解序列埠資料的壅塞問題。 |

資料不漏接的可靠傳輸能力
iDS內建有高效能的ARM CPU及大容量的記憶體，再傳送任何及關鍵資料時能達到 “零數據丟失” 的傳輸能力。如果發生網路或裝置忙碌來不急反應而造成連線問題，此時序列資料將被保存在緩衝區以避免遺失，一旦網路連線成功將依序重新傳送。iDS 上的每一個Port 都支援 32個 TCP 連線，可透過網路來共享來自單一序列設備上的資訊。
每個網路連線都會配置資料緩衝區。連結至設備服務器的裝置準備好接收資料前，資料緩衝區將資料暫存在記憶體。該緩衝區可以提升網路通訊效能及可靠性，當網路或裝置忙碌來不急反應，資料得以保存在緩衝區以避免遺失。iDS 上的每一個Port 都支援 32個 TCP 連線，可透過網路來共享來自單一序列設備上的資訊。

iDS提供了多項便利且優異的功能，使iDS容易部署於現場工作環境中，如下所示。

iDS內建了網頁伺服器，用戶可使用常見的瀏覽器 (如: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome…等) 來修改參數設定，包括，序列埠、SNMP及Serial-To-Ethernet Service的模式…等。另外，Flash Memory還保留了之後軟體升級用的空間。 |

IT友善型的管理
iDS還是支援SNMP網路管理協定，是一遵循現在網路、通訊及管理標準規格的網路管理協定，目前這是IT業界常用來監測設備的方法。當用戶定義的錯誤或事件發生時，iDS將傳送SNMP-Trap 警報到SNMP 管理器中。例如，當量測溫度時，達到某一高溫或低溫或是更改密碼時…等都會啟動事件而觸發警報來通知管理者，另外還提供了電子郵件警報通知及網頁日誌記錄檔。 |
