Motionnet is a high-speed serial communication system. It includes Master card and Slave modules. ICP DAS provides two categories of
Slaves, one is for Digital I/O, and another is for motion control. For digital I/O modules, there are 3 main types: 32-Input, 32-Output and
16-Input/16-Output. With these Slaves, customers can connect actuators/sensors directly and easily. For motion control modules, customers
can use them with either Servo motor or Stepping motor from different vendors.
The Motionnet communication between Master and Slave is based on a proprietary RS-485 technology (Multi-drop, Half-Duplex) with wiresaving,
long-distance and high-speed features. The data transfer for I/O modules is cyclically and time deteministic. So it could be widely used
for industrial automation applications. |
