PCI-1800/1802 系列是一張擁有高性能的多功能資料擷取卡,PCI-1800/1802 (L/H) 支援5V PCI bus介面,PCI-1800/1802 (LU/HU) 則支援3.3 V及5 V PCI bus介面,他們都架構了可連續330 kHz (Low Gain) 或44 kHz (High Gain) 12位元解析度的A/D 轉換器及二個12位元解析度的D/A 輸出通道、16個符合TTL規範的數位輸入通道及16個符合TTL規範的數位輸出通道。PCI-1800系列擁有16個單端/8個差動輸入通道,而PCI-1802系列擁有32個單端/16個差動輸入通道。此系列板卡還一個便利的A/D魔術掃描功能稱為”MagicScan”,使用者在設定完後,MagicScan就會自動的依使用者所設定的通道來擷取類比輸入值。可利用MagicScan來處理大部份的A/D取樣工作,如選擇通道、設定放大值、設定時間、觸發ADC及取得資料等。即使在通道掃描模式下,每個通道還是可以有不同的放大值且取樣率仍然可以高達到總 330 kS/s。PCI-1800系列卡適用於高速應用。
PCI-1802 系列卡內建8 K的FIFO緩衝區來減少在多工作業環境下的資料溢位問題,如Windows和Linux。
PCI-1800/1802 LU/HU在硬體上新增兩種功能,第一種是Card ID指撥開關, 讓使用者可以自由設定每張板卡的識別碼。當系統同時使用多張PCI-1800/1802 LU/HU板卡時,使用者可以迅速而簡單區別這些同型號的板卡。第二種是DI Pull High/Low設定功能,數位輸入埠可設定為pull-high或 pull-low,當信號線脫落或斷線時,該DI值會相對維持使用者預設的狀態(非浮動)。
PCI-1800/1802系列卡支援在Linux、DOS、Windows 98/NT/2000、32/64-Bit Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7等作業系統環境下使用,還提供有動態函式庫及Active X控制項使開發更加容易及簡單易懂的各種語言範例程式,如Turbo C++、Borland C++、Microsoft C++、Visual C++、Borland Delphi、Borland C++ Builder、Visual Basic、Visual C#.NET、Visual Basic.NET及LabVIEW等,讓用戶能夠快速的上手來使用。
