From the concept of a people-oriented core, ICP DAS strives to connect a variety of devices found in the everyday environments to the Internet so that data can be collected from various environmental locations through its wide range of functional I/O modules, intelligent controllers, or environmental sensors that include a communication capability.

Starting from the three elements, water, air, and electricity, ICP DAS first summarizes a number of key items that should be considered in the computer facilities. The most important aspects in terms of the environment that need to be taken into account first are the access control, water leakage, the monitoring of indoor humidity, the monitoring of electric power information, the uninterruptible power system (UPS), and the detection of 4G signal strength.
