LP-2000 Introduction

LP-2241M introduction
The LP-2000 is the new generation Linux-based PAC (Programmable Automation Controller) of ICP DAS and is designed to provide fast, convenient, flexible and simplified solutions for industrial and embedded applications.

Each LP-2000 is equipped with a Cortex-A8 (1.0 GHz) or Cortex-A53 (1.6 GHz) CPU running a Linux kernel operating system, a variant of input/output ports (VGA, USB, Ethernet, RS-232/485), and powerful software including development tools.

For hardware expansion, it also supports an I/O expansion bus. The I/O expansion bus can be used to implement various I/O functions such as D/I, D/O, A/D, D/A, Timer/Counter, UART, and other I/O functions. There are more than 10 boards available for LP-2000 series, customers can choose functions which they would like to combine, and then optimize the performance of the LP-2000 for every different situation.

Features

  • Embedded OS

Embedded Linux OS for LinPAC

► Linux Kernel 3.2.x for LP-2241M
► Linux Kernel 5.4.x for LP-2841M
► Real-time Capability
► Embedded Service: Web Server, FTP Server, Telnet Server, SSH Server
► Rich software and development solutions: LinPAC SDK for Linux and Windows platform, Perl, Java, GUI software, etc.

  • Local I/O and Communication Expansion Board

LP-2000 series equip an I/O expansion bus to support one optional expansion board, called XV-board. It can be used to implement various I/O functions such as DI, DO, A/D, D/A, Timer/Counter.

  • Remote I/O Module and Expansion Unit

With the built-in RS-485 and Ethernet port, the LP-2000 series modules can connect RS-485/Ethernet remote I/O units (RU-87Pn/ET-87Pn) or modules (I-7000/M-7000/ET-7000).

  • Multi-Communication Interface

There are several of communication interfaces to expand I/O and connect to external devices:
1. Ethernet       2. RS-232/485       3. USB host

  • 3G and 4G network

These modules has the integrated TCP/IP stack so that even simple controllers with serial communications ports can be connected to the modem without the need for special driver implementation. With the features of theirs, the systems can be SMS and GPRS and 4G or 3G connection applications with our PAC.

  • Unique 64-bit Hardware Serial Number to Protect Your Program

A unique 64-bit serial number is assigned to each hardware device to protect your software against piracy.

  • Small and Easy Installation

LP-2000 series have a palm-size shape (35 mm x 167 mm x 119 mm) to be installed in a narrow space with DIN-Rail.

  • Highly Reliable Under Harsh Environment

Our LinPAC operate in a wide range of temperature and humidity.
► Operating Temperature: -25 ~ +75 °C
► Storage Temperature: -40 ~ +80 °C

► Humidity 10 ~ 90% RH (non-condensing)
