Introduction:

The PCI-P16POR16U card is a new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance requirement and is designed as completely compatible with the PCI-P16POR16. Users can replace the PCI-P16POR16 by the PCI-P16POR16U directly without software/driver modification.

The PCI-P16POR16U universal PCI card supports 3.3 V/5 V PCI bus and provide 16 photocoupler Digital Inputs that provide 5000 Vrms isolation protection and allows input signals to be completely floated to prevent ground loops noise. They are also equipped with 16 PhotoMOS Relay Output channels to enable the control of the ON/OFF state of external devices, drive external relays, small power switches, or activate alarms…etc.

The PCI-P16POR16U also adds a Card ID switch on-board. Users can set Card ID and then recognizes the board by the ID via software when using two or more cards in one computer.

These cards support various OS versions, such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98/NT/2000 and 32/64-bit Windows 8/7/Vista/XP. DLL and Active X control together with various language sample programs based on Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW are provided in order to help users quickly and easily develop their own applications.
