The PEX-P64 cards is the new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance requirement and is designed as easy replacement for the PISO-P64U without software/driver modification.
The PEX-P64 has a PCI Express interface and provides 64-channel Optically Isolated Digital Input. Each input channel adopts a photo-coupler input which allows either internal isolated power supply or external power selected by jumper. The internal power is provided by an onboard isolated DC/DC converter that provides 3000 VDC isolation and is used for connecting dry-contact input devices. The onboard photo couplers provide 3750 Vrms isolation, and act as an interface to field logic signals, eliminate ground-loop problems, and isolate the host computer from damaging voltages. The PEX-P64 also adds a Card ID switch. Users can set Card ID on a board and recognize the board by the ID via software when using two or more PEX-P64 cards in one computer.
The PEX-P64 supports various OS such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7/8 32/64-Bit. It also provides the DLL and Active X control, and various language sample programs of Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, Visual C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW to help users to quickly and easily develop their applications.
