ICP DAS New Product Release: PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i

Introduction:
The PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i card is the new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance in the newest interface - PCI Express. The new PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i card is designed as backward compatible with for the PCI-P8POR8/PCI-P16POR16.

The PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i in PCI Express contains 8/16 photo-coupler digital inputs that provide 2000 Vrms isolation protection and allows input signals to be completely floated so as to prevent ground loops noise. They are also equipped with 8/16 photomos relay output channels to enable the control of the ON/OFF state of external devices, drive external relays, small power switches, or activate alarmsKetc.

The PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i also contains a Card ID switch. Users can set Card ID on a board and recognize the board by the ID via software when using two or more PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i cards in one computer. In addition, PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i also has DO status Readback function to get the relay status at any time.

The PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i software is compatible with the PCI-P8POR8/PCI-P16POR16 software. Therefore, the new PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i card is totally compatible with PCI-P8POR8/P16POR16 card and requires no software modification. The PEX-P8POR8i/P16POR16i supports various OS such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7 32/64-Bit. It also provides the DLL, Active X control, and various language sample programs of Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, Visual C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW to help users to quickly and easily develop their applications.
