	ISaGRAF PAC New Modbus TCP Master Application : Connecting Modbus TCP Slave Devices



	ICP DAS releases new application that the ISaGRAF PAC - XP-8xx7-CE6, WP-8xx7 and VP-2xW7 can support Modbus TCP Master Protocol to link to various Modbus TCP Slave devices. These PAC previously support the devices which have only one Ethernet port. Now, they are all extended to support the devices which have two Ethernet ports (two IP addresses). If one IP of the device is damaged or disconnected, the PAC will try to connect the other IP automatically.

	ISaGRAF Using Functions : (FAQ-113) The “Mbus_tcp” is for connecting devices which have only one IP address. The “Mbus_tc2” is for connecting devices which have two IP addresses. There is one more setting - “Device_IP2”. If one fails, the PAC will try to connect the other IP.

	Redundant System with iDCS-8000 : (FAQ-125) Dual PACs, dual Ethernet ports redundant system PC/HMI can just connect one IP address to link to the redundant system.
