ICP DAS New Product: PISO-CPM100U CANopen Master Universal PCI Communication Card
 
CANopen is a kind of the network protocol based on the CAN bus. It can efficiently reduce the wiring cost and the system setting time. For constituting a CANopen network more easily in various applications, ICP DAS announces the PISO-CPM100U CANopen master card. The good choice for a CANopen master solution.
The PISO-CPM100U with one 80186 compatible CPU inside can reduce the PC computing power efficiently, and improve the real-time capability of the supervisor and control system. Moreover, the free easy-to-use utility helps users to manage each CANopen salve device in the CANopen network. The real-time supervisor and control features of the utility lets users access the status and configuration of each CANopen slave device immediately.
 
 
CANopen master library and demos can help users to build their CANopen master system quickly and easily. By using the CAN-8x23 and CAN-2000C series CANopen slave devices of ICP DAS, users can set up an integral intelligent CANopen control system.

Comparing with the support of 5V signal in PISO-CPM100, the PISO-CPM100U supplies the Universal PCI slot interface. It can support both 5V and 3.3V signals. Owing to the compatible of the API interface, users can quickly and conveniently upgrade the CANopen control system from PCI interface into Universal PCI interface without modifying any application software.
