ICP DAS NEW PRODUCT¡GI-7531 CAN bus Repeater

 
 

The I-7531 is a ¡§CAN repeater¡¨ solution proposed by ICP DAS. It is used to establish a physical coupling of two or more segments of a CAN bus system. Tree or star topologies can be implemented by using I-7531. Moreover, it extends drop line distance so that more CAN devices can be added on the branch. Through I-7531, users can isolate the noise or disturbances between two different CAN network to avoid the surge damage on these CAN network.

  • Photo-coupler isolation between 2 CAN port: 2500 Vrms
  • 3KV galvanic isolation between the power supply and 2 CAN ports

  • Fully compatible with the ISO 11898-2 standard
  • Communication baud rate range : 10Kbps ~ 1Mbps
  • Removable terminal block
  • Mountable on DIN Rail
  • Bus pins protected against transients in an industrial environment
  • No disturbance of the bus lines with an un-powered node
  • Transmit data (TxD) dominant time-out function prevents the output drivers from driving a permanent dominant state.
  • A thermal protection circuit is integrated to prevent the transceiver from damage if the junction temperature exceeds thermal shutdown level.
  • CAN terminal resistors are integrated (can be disabled by jumper)
