ICP DAS will release a Cost Effective and Hot-Swap redundant system by μPAC-7186EG + RU-87P4 / P8 at around the middle of January 2008. It's one of the best choices for small size Industrial applications (less than 300 I/O). Each redundant system has two μPAC-7186EG to connect to one or several RU-87P4 / P8 + High-Profile I-87K I/O cards. If any μPAC-7186EG is damaged or not functional accidentally, the other μPAC-7186EG will take over the control of whole system in about 5 seconds. This makes sure that the application can work safely.
