Introduction :
LinCon-8000 is the “Linux Embedded Controller” developed by ICP DAS and now users can use Matlab/Simulink to develop LinCon-8000 control program. There are over 20 I/O modules and system-level Simulink Blocksets have been supported. By using Simulink development environment, control algorithm can be easily constructed and verified without writing any code. By pressing one button, users can convert a model to an executable file for LinCon-8000. Then download it to LinCon for test or practical application via Ethernet. The Rapid Controller Prototyping ( RCP ) will be realized and engineers can put more focus on advanced control algorithm design. The time cycle for products will be reduced.

Procedures for building the application :
           1. Construct control model by Simulink
           2. Push “Build” button to produce a LinCon executable file
           3. Download the *.exe to LinCon-8000 via Ethernet
           4. Run the program through Matlab GUI.
