  • UA Series Release New Version V1.3.2.5:
    The UA series IIoT Communication Server releases the new version of V1.3.2.5. It upgrades the storage and communication port on the hardware and adds four new functions on the firmware. Also, the data security functions and some errors have been improved. This new version will optimize your project design and product application.   • Hardware Upgrade: 
    1. Storage Upgrade: The Flash memory is increased from 512 MB to 8 GB for the model UA-5231/5231M.
    2. Communication Port Upgrade: Add one more RS-485 Serial port with 2500 VDC isolated function. Now, both RS-485 Serial ports are isolated ports. It can help block noise interference so that the field equipment and application projects can be protected.

  • Firmware New Functions: 
    1. Function of Module Communication Conversion: Add Internal Module for OPC UA conversio
    This function can create virtual internal variables and put them into the OPC UA Server to provide data exchange of multiple OPC UA Clients. Using this function, the Client to Client data communication conversion can be achieved. 




    2. Module List for Modbus Mapping Table: More models are added into the Module List, such as WISE, ET/PET, DL, tM series modules
    In the Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP Module Setting, more WISE, ET/PET, DL, tM series and models are added into the Module List. With one click on a model of Module List, the complex Modbus Address Mapping Table can be created quickly, easily, automatically for the users, saving more time and effort. The users can download the latest ICP DAS Module List from the Firmware webpage of the UA Download Center. And upload ICP DAS Module List in the menu of the Module Setting of the UA Web UI.





    3. Variable type: Support Int64 data type
    This new function supports Modbus devices with the 64-bit Integer data type, such as electricity meters, water meters, etc. It allows users to design the projects more diversified and can apply the UA series into more advanced applications.



    4. Remote Database MySQL / MS SQL / MariaDB: Add Data Change mode for Data Logger setting
    The user can select to write the log data into the database when the data changes. If no change has been made on the data, the system will not spend the resources to write the data. Which not only saves the resources but also improves the performance. In addition, it also provides the option of merging or separating the [Date Time Format] field, which is more compatible with the database table design.
