ICP DAS developed IIoT Communication Server UA series now have 3 new functions include: support EtherNet/IP protocol, support Cloud platforms from top-of-the-industry, and Data Logger functions.

UA product line is developed by ICP DAS. UA series have built-in OPC UA Server, MQTT Broker and Client functions which can meet the requirements of connecting with MES, ERP, and SCADA. UA series could access I/O modules and controllers in the field via communication interface such as Ethernet, RS-232, and RS-485 or through protocols like Modbus TCP/RTU/ASCII and MQTT. UA series connect IT to OT and integrate all devices information into the Cloud. This allows managers to improve production performance and enhance their factory competitiveness for Industrial IoT.
 

ICP DAS have highlighted new functions of UA series products:

◆ Support EtherNet/IP Protocol: Up to 50 ICP DAS EIP-2000 series modules can be connected with one UA. Aside from previous support to MQTT, Modbus RTU/ASCII, clients now have diversity of communication integration by using UA products.

◆ Support Cloud Platform: active connect to Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and IBM Bluemix IoT cloud platforms. UA can upload received I/O data and easily create Big Data.

◆ Support Data Logger Function: UA series can regularly record I/O status and save into local Data Log file (in CSV format). On the other hand, UA can also store these data into remote Data Base server (now support MS SQL and My SQL; MariaDB is under developing).
