Introduction:
The I-7550-M and the I-7550E-M are specially designed for the slave device supporting the PROFIBUS DP protocol.
The I-7550-M offers three communication interface: RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485. With the Hybrid COM 1 design, users can readily choose one type of com port to use. By using this module, users can easily connect their RS-232/422/485 devices to the PROFIBUS network.
The I-7550E-M allows the PROFIBUS master to access any kinds of Ethernet devices supporting TCP/UDP protocol. It can be set as TCP/UDP server or client, providing users with flexible options to meet their specific requirements. In addition, through the I-7550E-M built-in web server, the user can set the module by web browser. With the powerful functions of the I-7550E-M, users can effortlessly connect Ethernet devices to the PROFIBUS network.

- The metal case provides enhanced protection against EMS or other electromagnetic noises
