ICP DAS Green Policy-- RoHS/WEEE Compliance All 8 categories of electrical and electronic products (EEE) entering the EU market must comply with the directives of RoHS 2.0 (2011/65/EU, Restriction of the use of certain hazardous substance in electrical and electronic equipment) and WEEE (2002/96/EC, Waste Electronics and Electrical Equipment). The main objective of those directives is to restrict the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products in order to protect human health and ensure the reasonable recycling and treatment of waste to protect the environment. Those directives apply to all equipment with a voltage rating not exceeding 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, which are included in the list of 8 categories of EEE, including electric light bulbs and household luminaries. |
