Introduction

The M-2017 is an 8-channel differential analog input module where each channel can be independently configured for its input range, with voltage or current input mode selectable via DIP switch. The sampling rate can be set to fast mode (60 Hz) or normal mode (10 Hz), and the module supports both Modbus RTU and DCON protocols, with all settings configurable through software.

For protection, the module provides 240 Vrms overvoltage protection and 50 mA overcurrent protection under 110 VDC/VAC conditions. It also features EMS (EFT/ESD/Surge) protection and 3000 VDC I/O isolation, enhancing noise immunity and improving system reliability in harsh industrial environments.
