ISaGRAF PAC release new functions and applications: Network Time Synchronization, System Date/Time Reading, New Modbus Function Block and PAC Sound Playing

The ISaGRAF PAC of ICP DAS releases 4 new functions or applications, and provides the steps and configurations in the ISaGRAF FAQ for user referring.

FAQ-130: Add XP-8xx7-CE6 & WP-8x37 models to support SNTP Client for Network Time Synchronization

The models to support SNTP Client network time synchronization in ICP DAS ISaGRAF PAC are WP-8x47 and VP-2xW7 series, from now on, the XP-8xx7-CE6 and WP-8x37 series releases the new driver versions to support the function too. All of the ISaGRAF WinCE series controllers support the network time synchronization now. When constructing the control system, users have more PAC model selection to configure a better application.

FAQ-149: Make the ISaGRAF WinCE PAC play a sound

ICP DAS's PAC can play a sound! The ViewPAC series controllers support an audio (stereo) port to play the sound. The same series of ISaGRAF VP-25W7 and VP-23W7 PAC can play the sound since the ISaGRAF driver version 1.31 that provides "ComStr_W" function to play "*.wav" format audio files. When construct the outputs of control system, users can apply variegated applications according to the case demands to play a sound for event warning, system navigation and sense context of the control system!
