For RoHS controllers, the item numbers are with  CR.

For example :
                     I-7188EX <== Non RoHS version
                     I-7188EX CR <== RoHS version

Your old program that developed on I-7188EX (non RoHS) can run on both I-7188EX and I-7188EX CR
It does not need any modification.

But the MiniOs7 image for RoHS controller must be following or later
    Supports I-7188XA and I-7188XA CR <=== from 2006,Jun,14 (7188XA_CR_20060614.img)
    Supports I-7188XB and I-7188XB CR <=== from 2006,Jun,14 (7188XB_CR_20060614.img)
    Supports I-7188EX and I-7188EX CR <=== from 2006,Jun,08 (7188E_CR_20060608.img)

New MiniOS7 image can support both RoHS and non-RoHS controller.
But old MiniOS7 image can not support RoHS controller.

If you install old MiniOS7 image on RoHS controller, the controller will not execute autoexec.bat while boot up.
Except that, all operations work as before.
