One Gateway, Five Protocols for Seamless Device Integration
From air-conditioning units to server racks, and from power meters to cloud platforms, data centers and factory floors are filled with devices using different communication protocols. In the past, integrating these devices into a single monitoring system often required a separate protocol converter for each protocol and a dedicated driver for each device, resulting in high integration costs and fragmented management interfaces. ECO-2105M is an Embedded Linux gateway with built-in protocol stacks for BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, RESTful API, and Redfish, allowing existing devices to be integrated, monitored, and managed by a unified system without replacing existing equipment or adding extra hardware. Across these five protocols, ECO-2105M operates as the active Client / Master, initiating connections to read data from field devices and report data to enterprise systems. It does not expose any protocol server services externally, helping minimize the system's cybersecurity exposure.

Modules with Five Built-in Protocols
Each protocol is the “native language” of existing equipment in data centers and industrial facilities—air-conditioning systems speak BACnet, power meters speak Modbus, network switches speak SNMP, and servers speak Redfish. Rather than requiring devices to adopt a new standard, the gateway understands all five protocols simultaneously, handling data format conversion and aggregation internally. This eliminates the need for engineers to maintain separate logic for each protocol.

Application Domain Comparison
Different application domains rely on different combinations of protocols. The gateway enables the same hardware to be deployed across multiple domains, eliminating the need to purchase a dedicated protocol converter for each application.
In the same data center, servers in the equipment room rely on SNMP and Redfish for monitoring, while the surrounding chillers and HVAC systems typically use BACnet, and power meters and UPS systems in the electrical room commonly use Modbus. In the past, these three domains often required separate monitoring systems, leaving their data isolated from one another. With the gateway, facility operators can view the relationship between issues such as “server temperature too high” and “abnormal HVAC operation on the floor” on a single platform, without manually comparing data across three different software systems.

Why choosing ECO-2105M?

One Hardware Platform for Data Centers, Buildings, and Production Lines
From server racks in data centers to PLC-based production lines on the factory floor, this gateway uses a single hardware platform and a unified management interface to consolidate device data across five protocols into a format that enterprise systems can understand. Whether planning multi-protocol monitoring for a new data center or upgrading integration in an existing site without replacing existing equipment, deployment can start with a single gateway.
