Introduction
The Win-GRAF WinPAC-8000-CE7 Series (WP-8128-CE7/8428-CE7/8828-CE7) from ICP DAS features a durable plastic casing and operates on the Windows CE 7.0 platform. Each model in this series is powered by a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A8 CPU and includes multiple input/output ports (VGA, USB, Ethernet, RS-232/485), along with 1, 4, or 8 expansion I/O slots. These slots are compatible with the high-performance I-8K (parallel-type) and I-87K (serial-type) series I/O modules, making it a versatile and robust choice for automation tasks.
Running Windows CE 7.0 on a WinPAC device offers several advantages, such as hard real-time capability and precise deterministic control. Additionally, it provides PAC with a PC-like window display and operating environment. The WP-8xx8-CE7 series PACs support Win-GRAF software (IEC 61131-3 standard) for developing logic control applications, and M.S.
