ETS-7217
Introduction
The ETS-7217 is a module with 8-channel differential analog inputs and 4-channel digital ouputs, as well as the OPC UA, MQTT, Rest API, CoAP, LwM2M and Modbus protocols, which are supported for connecting with a variety of digital sensors in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications.. It provides programmable input range on all analog channels (+/-150 mV, +/-500 mV, +/-1 V, +/-5 V, +/-10 V, +/-20 mA, 0 ~ 20 mA and 4 ~ 20 mA) and digital output can be set alarm output with Short-circuit protection and overload protection. Each analog channel is allowed to configure an individual range and has 240 Vrms high overvoltage protection. Each analog input can be programmed to accept voltage or current as input depending upon the position of corresponding jumper. The sampling rate of ETS-7217 is changeable; there are fast mode and normal mode for your consideration. ETS-7217 also has qualification for 4 kV ESD protection as well as 2500 VDC intra-module isolation.
ETS-7217 provides an easy-to-use and intuitive web interface that allows users to implement IF-THEN-ELSE control logic with just a few clicks; no programming is required. The built-in IF-THEN-ELSE logic engine executes the automation logic in a stable and efficient manner. It also provides functions for mathematical operations, scheduling, and sending alarms via e-mail.
An OPC UA server is part of the ETS-7217 firmware and is a secure, open and reliable mechanism for information transfer. OPC UA is used for horizontal communication between machines and vertical communication between the machine and a higher level IT system (SCADA, Cloud). All standard OPC UA clients can connect directly to the ETS-7217 without customization, reducing the cost of integration or application software development
