Introduction
ETS-2242U is a cybersecurity module providing 16 sink-type or source-type digital output channels, selectable via wiring. Each channel can drive a load of up to 500 mA and supports configurable Power-on Value and Safe Value settings. A built-in 2-port Ethernet switch supports daisy-chain topology, enabling flexible device deployment, simplified installation, and reduced infrastructure costs.
To ensure stable operation in harsh industrial environments, the module features photo-isolation with 3000 Vrms transient overvoltage protection (no channel-to-channel isolation), as well as EMS protection (EFT/ESD/Surge) and 3000 VDC I/O isolation, significantly enhancing the system's anti-interference capabilities. Moreover, the module supports I/O Pair-Connection functionality for DI-to-DO channel pairing with a remote module. Once configured, the local DO module can get remote DI data in Pull mode via Modbus TCP.
