Company News 2015-08-25

The 2015 COMPUTEX TAIPEI is hold from June 2nd to 6th and host 1702 exhibitors and more than 130,000 attendees. With the huge prospects of the IoT, more than 700 COMPUTEX exhibitors are focusing on IoT related products and technology which makes cross-industry/cross-device applications possible and create new niches for the automation industry.

The core architecture of Industrial Internet of Thing and Industry 4.0 consisting three highly integrated technologies: Information Technology, IT, Operational Technology, OT and Communication Technology, CT.

ICP DAS provides Indusoft Web Studio SCADA software that includes function modules for HMI development, management control, SCADA system and embedded control. With the built-in visualized display functions in both local device and remote (WEB) side, the enterprise can remote manage and monitor automated production devices. And with the help of visualized data analysis, the devices can be adjusted immediately if required. And along with the services provided by either public cloud or private cloud, the benefits by using Indusoft Web Studio SCADA software can be maximized; therefore enables to meet various requirements in IOT applications.

ICP DAS provides various I/O modules, PAC controllers, Panels and etc.; they can be connected for used in applications in all fields such as: railway communication, smart building, smart factory, production line, etc. As the ICP DAS general manager Robert Chen stated: With the growing attention to Industry 4.0, the PAC products of ICP DAS have been gradually recognized as best partners of Industry 4.0 for we have accumulated extensive experiences and develop product lines that perfectly fit customer’s specific requirements.

ICP DAS provides IIOT total solutions

The IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things) concept was brought by the CEO Jeff Immelt of GE. Comparing to consumer IOT or conventional M2M(Machine to Machine), IIOT emphasis more on M2M communication architecture that incorporates independent peer-to-peer distributed control. For full scope of Industry 4.0 relies on seamless integration of the IOT and big data; ICP DAS provides full range products with wide-range combinations of Fieldbus communication protocols, including: remote I/O modules, gateways, converters , 2G / 3G / 4G products, WLAN, Zigbee, GPS, IR, DSSS RF and other wireless products and remote maintenance systems that makes it easy to communicate with manufacturing systems, manufacturing equipment and field sensors in the factories. With a variety of HMI to choose from, the field workers can be real-time informed and getting a clear picture of current factory status. In addition, it also allows to remote monitor the production operations via cell phone or tablet.

The prime minister of China Li Ke Qiang was pushing forward “Made in China 2025”, initiating a ten-year national plan to transform China from a manufacturing giant into a world manufacturing power. The focus of the “Made in China 2025” locates at intelligent manufacturing; pursuing to apply intelligent production strategy to upgrade the efficiency of production. Since always until now, ICP DAS helps our customers to upgrade facilities step by step; by incorporating network, digital, and intelligent technology to migrate toward the goal of intelligent production in the Industry 4.0 era.

In the COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2015, the core theme ICP DAS shared with the visitors is the solution ICP DAS provided for Industry 4.0. The Indusoft Web Studio can be integrated with PAC controllers, IOT gateways and data acquisition modules, to fulfill various scenarios a smart factory requires, and achieve devices automation, smart factory, as well as cyber-physical system to response to the productivity 4.0 policy presented by the Executive Yuan.
