Introduction
The PEX-P32C32 cards is the new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance requirement and is designed as easy replacement for the PISO-P32C32U without software/driver modification.The PEX-P32C32 supports PCI Express Bus and provides 32-channel Optically Isolated Digital Input and 32-channel Optically Isolated Digital Open-collector output that are arranged into four isolated banks. Each input channel adopts a photo-coupler input which allows either internal isolated power supply or external power selected by jumper. Each digital output channel offers a Darlington transistor. The power supply of the input port may use the external power or the power from the PC side by using a DC/DC converter. The power supply of the output port requires the external power source. The PEX-P32C32 eliminates ground-loop problems and provides isolation that protects host computer from damaging voltages.
The PEX-P32C32 support various OS versions, such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98/NT/2000 and 32/64-bit Windows 8/7/Vista/XP. DLL and Active X control together with various language sample programs based on Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW are provided in order to help users quickly and easily develop their own applications.
