Introduction
The VP-1231-CE7 is a WinCE7-based ViewPAC module that combines computing, I/O, and an operator interface into a single unit, and provides a perfect solution for integrating HMI, data acquisition and control in an individual PAC. The VP-1231-CE7 is equipped with a Cortex-A8 1GHz CPU, a TFT LCD, and a variety of connection ports, including a Gigabit Ethernet port, a USB port, and an RS-232/RS-485 interface. The capacity for I/O expansion is available; ICP DAS offers Ethernet and RS-485 I/O modules options for users to freely choose from. The VP-1231-CE7 is designed to operate over a wide-ambient temperature range from -20°C to 70°C, and the fan-less design offers the ultimate in reliability with no moving parts.Compared with the VP-25W1, the hardware size and the positions and numbers of the peripheral communication interface of the VP-1231-CE7are completely compatible with the VP-25W1, and the hardware can be directly upgraded. Hardware specifications include faster CPU, Gigabit Ethernet and larger RAM / Flash memory; the overall system performance is greatly improved than the previous generation.
