CAN-2084C – 4/8 Counter/Frequency CANopen Slave Module

Introduction:

CANopen is one kind of the network protocols based on the CAN bus and mainly applied in embedded networks of machine control, such as industrial machine automation, factory automation, medical equipments control, remote data acquisition, environmental monitoring, and packaging machines control.

The CAN-2084C module follows the CiA -301 version 4.02, and has passed the validation of the CiA CANopen Conformance Test tool. You can use it with the standard CANopen master interface easily by applying the provided EDS file. The CAN-2084C module provides 4/8 channels DI as counters, the DI channels have 5 modes, 4 sets of Up/Down counter, 4 sets of Dir/Pulse counter, 4 sets of A/B phase counter, 8 sets of Up counter and 8 sets of Frequency detection.

Supports standard 8 kinds of the CANopen transfer rate, 10 kbps, 20 kbps, 50 kbps, 125 kbps, 250 kbps, 500 kbps, 800 kbps and 1000 kbps.
Supports maximum Node-ID up to 99.
Supports NMT, PDO, SDO, EMCY, SYNC, Guarding and Heartbeat protocols.
Passes the validation of CiA CANopen Conformance Test tool.
Provides default EDS File.
