Introduction
The VP-4231-CE7 is a WinCE7-based ViewPAC module that combines computing, I/O, and an operator interface into a single unit, and provides the perfect solution for integrating HMI, and data acquisition and control in an individual PAC. The VP-4231-CE7 is equipped with a Cortex-A8 1GHz CPU, a TFT LCD, and a variety of connection ports, including a Gigabit Ethernet port, a USB port, and an RS-232/RS-485 interface. The capacity for I/O expansion is available, meaning that you can take advantage of the ICP DAS Ethernet and RS-485 I/O modules. The VP-4231-CE7 is designed to operate over a wide - ambient temperature range from -20°C to 70°C, and the fan-less design offers the ultimate in reliability with no moving parts.Compared with the VP-4131, the hardware size and peripheral communication interface position number are completely compatible with the VP-4131, and the hardware can be directly upgraded. Hardware specifications include faster CPU, Gigabit Ethernet and larger RAM / Flash memory. Overall system performance improves than the previous generation greatly.
