The (P)ET-2252 is a PoE-enabled version of the ET-2252, providing flexible power options with support for both DC and PoE inputs. Both models share the same hardware specifications and firmware. Customers can choose the PET-2252 version (PoE + DC power supply) or the ET-2252 version (DC power supply only), depending on specific application requirements. Regardless of the version, the module supports dual DC power inputs (+10 to +48 VDC) to enhance power redundancy. If one power source fails or becomes unavailable, the other power source will immediately take over to ensure uninterrupted operation, making it ideal for critical applications.

The (P)ET-2252 is an IP-based Ethernet I/O module designed for remote monitoring and control. It provides a variety of digital I/O functions and supports communication over a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network using the Modbus TCP/UDP protocol. The module supports I/O Pair-Connection functionality, allowing the establishment of DI-to-DO pairing connections with the remote module via Ethernet. Once configured, the local DI data can be written to remote DO channels using Push mode through Modbus TCP. Alternatively, the module can pull remote DI data and write it to local DO channels.
