Introduction
EtherCAT (Ethernet for Control Automation Technology) is an open, high-performance fieldbus system that brings Ethernet technology to the I/O level. It provides flexible wiring, fast communication and many advanced features. EtherCAT requires a master to control multiple slaves.
ICP DAS provides PCIe EtherCAT Master for users to develop motion control applications. With its built-in CPU, the EtherCAT Master supports multi-axis motion and I/O control while significantly reducing the CPU loading on the PC.
In addition, ICP DAS provides a wide selection of I/O slave modules. As EtherCAT is an industrial standard, these modules can also operate seamlessly with 3rd-party EtherCAT slaves.
