Introduction
The ETS-7200 Series are Ethernet I/O modules with a built-in web server (HTTP/HTTPS), allowing users to configure the modules, monitor data, and control I/O channels directly through a standard web browser. This enables remote system control with user-friendly operation comparable to regular web browsing.
The modules support logic rules using IF, THEN, ELSE statements for defining logical interactions between I/O and software points. A scheduling feature is also available to execute these rules at specified times. Each module includes a dual-port Ethernet switch, enabling Daisy Chain network topology. This design simplifies wiring, reduces maintenance complexity and switch requirements, lowers cabling costs, and enhances network scalability. If an individual ETS-7200 module loses power, the LAN Bypass function activates automatically, allowing the Daisy Chain network to continue functioning without interruption and preserving communication stability.
The ETS-7200 Series integrates multiple cybersecurity features to provide comprehensive protection for industrial communications. The built-in web server supports user authentication and HTTPS encryption, securing web access and RESTful API data against leakage.
The modules support common industrial IoT communication protocols, including Modbus, MQTT Client, and LwM2M Client, and offer options for TLS/DTLS certificates and encryption to enhance data and device security. These mechanisms help prevent unauthorized access, data interception, and tampering during transmission.
An IP filtering feature allows user to specify which IP address are permitted or blocked. In of the event of abnormal network activity, defense mechanisms can be triggered automatically to mitigate potential risks.
