Introduction

The iKAN series is a family of industrial-grade LED display devices featuring excellent noise immunity, high reliability and long-term stability. It allows real-time display of a formatted message sent from a PC or PLC. The text is available in seven colors, enabling users to indicate different message priorities and greatly enhance readability in industrial environments.
Messages can be edited and enabled or disabled via standard web browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, using a PC, mobile device, or smartphone. The iKAN IP65 models are fully waterproof and dustproof, making them ideal for use in harsh or semi-outdoor environments such as under eaves, in open halls, outdoor canopies, or beneath skylights.

Applications

The iKAN series provides storage for up to 128 messages and 168 variables. Real-time data from PLCs can be embedded into text messages for dynamic display. In addition, control of message display—such as showing or hiding messages or sending encoded strings—can be achieved through PLC Modbus commands.

The iKAN can directly connect to ICP DAS DL/CL series sensor modules to display environmental data such as indoor temperature, humidity, CO, CO2, and PM2.5 concentrations. This enables on-site personnel to monitor and respond to air quality conditions in real-time, ensuring a healthy working environment.
