In recent years, ICP DAS is concentrating on developing M2M (Machine to Machine) technology and has provided a variety of M2M products. Especially the G-4500 series, GT-5XX series and GTM-20X series, they are widely praised in the market. In order to integrate the 4G wireless M2M applications into the PAC series easily, we release the new industrial 4G LTE module: I-8213W-4G. It supports FDD LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20, UMTS 2100/900/850 MHz, GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and GPS function, it also utilizes the 4G/3G/2G network for convenient and inexpensive data transformation from remote devices, meters, computers or control systems in either live data or packet data acquisition.

The module has the general modem functions and the integrated TCP/IP stacks that can easily help PAC series to access the internet through 4G/3G/2G network; it can be used in a lot of SMS applications such as Vending machine monitoring system, security systems or remote data acquisition.

The module supports all kinds of PAC platforms in ICP DAS, such as XPAC-8000(Windows Embedded Standard 2009), WinPAC-8000/ViewPAC (WinCE 7.0 Based) or LinPAC-8000 (Linux kernel 2.6 based). Users can choose their favorite platform to develop programs. The I-8213W-4G canoptimize the functions of 4G/3G/2G when works with the PAC series.
