ICP DAS releases new GTP-230 which is an intelligent active 3G Controller. GTP-230 is a cost-effective stand-alone product and it was designed to suit most M2M 3G applications. It features high performance 32-bit CPU and it also fits to work in harsh industrial environments. The GTP-230 also features a 3G module, a RS-232 ports and a RS-485 port. GTP-230 include SMS alarm function and Virtual COM gateway function. User can choose different functions via the DIP switch.

With SMS Function, the GTP-230 can work as a remote controller and alarm system allowing you to monitor and control devices from any location by your mobile phone. Its alarm facilities provide a flexible way to send critical alarm information to specified mobile phone.

With Gateway Function, the RS-232/485 devices can be connected to a GPRS/WCDMA network. GTP-230 uses VSPE (Virtual Serial Ports Emulator) technology, so the corresponding serial ports on the GTP-230 can be virtually displayed on the remote computer(with the VSPE software installed). In this way, it makes it easy to perform remote monitoring and control of the serial devices in the applications.
