From Dec. 4, 2015, ICP DAS Co., Ltd. has upgraded InduSoft PAC’s runtime folder to v8.0. All licenses purchased after the date will be authorized with version 8.0. Users can get the free license upgrading from v7.1 to v8.0 if purchased license from ICP DAS Co., Ltd. after May 1, 2015. The deadline of this plan is Dec. 31, 2015. License bought before May 1, 2015 is not qualified for this plan.

 

How to Upgrade InduSoft PAC:

1. Please contact our sales to check your InduSoft PAC is qualified for free upgrading.
2. If so, please follow the step below to get your current site code:
   To get the current site code ( see Figure 2 ), run CEServer.exe ( see Figure 1 ) from:

• WinPAC/ViewPAC/IWSPAC：My Device > Micro_SD > InduSoft > CEServer.exe
• XPAC：My Device > System_Disk > InduSoft > CEServer.exe

3. Please send your current site code to us, after checking the site code, we will send you a new site key to you ASAP. This process usually takes about 3-5 working days. When you get the new site key, please follow the step 2 to run CEServer.exe and enter the new site key in ”Site Key(Activation Code):” field, then click “Authorize” to register.

*****NOTE***** After register, Make sure you do save it before reboot the PAC. Open WinPAC/ ViewPAC/XPAC/PAC Utility, choice File >> Save and Reboot. If you don’t do this step, you might be lose your license.

4. After register, please send the new site code which at ”Site Code ( Hardware identifier ):” field to us for record.
