In order to improve user experience, ICP DAS hereby formally announces DCON Utility Pro V4.0 for easily and quickly searching, batch configuring and managing remote I/O modules with support of DCON or Modbus RTU protocols via the serial port (RS-232/485) or Ethernet port (using virtual com port) on Windows PC or ICP DAS embedded PAC.
What’s new in DCON Utility Pro V4.0
1. Support Multi Ports and Multi I/O modules operation.
2. Save detailed module settings as a project file
After completing all modules’ configurations, the new function Save Project can be used to
a. Store the communication parameters of all modules. If there are many modules on the RS-485 network, the previous search results can be quickly restored.
b. Save detailed module settings to help understand the functions of the module and save paperwork for recording module settings.

3. Load the previous saved project file
Load the previous saved project file not only to quickly restore the search results, but also to help find out whether the before and after settings of the module on the RS-485 network are consistent. Provide fast and effective module maintenance and management functions.
4. Edit module’s settings offline for batch configuration.
A quick setting tool is provided to edit the module’s settings offline. If is applied when a large number of modules need to be configured with the same settings. The multitude of modules can be quickly completed through connecting INIT* pin to GND.
5. Support multiple languages, you can add your own language through a simple procedure.
