PISO-1730U支援3.3 V/5 V PCI bus介面，並提供32個光隔離數位輸入通道及32個開集極數位輸出通道，並分別安排至4個Isolated bank。每個輸入通道使用光耦合輸入。每個數位輸出通道均使用達林頓電晶體。電源供應器輸入埠可使用外部電源或來自PC端的DC/DC轉換器。電源的輸出端口應使用外部電源。PISO-1730U的邏輯信號可消除地面迴路問題和隔離導致主機損壞的電壓。
PISO-1730U 提供Card ID功能，透過Card ID指撥開關，可以自由設定每張板卡的識別碼。當系統同時使用多張PISO-1730U板卡時，便可以迅速而簡單區別這些同型號的板卡。
PISO-1730U的軟體設計與PISO-P32C32U全相容，所以使用者可以在不用更動軟體的情況下使用PISO-1730U。此系列卡支援在Linux、DOS、Windows 98/NT/2000、32/64-Bit Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7/8等作業系統環境下使用，還提供有動態函式庫及Active X控制項使開發更加容易及簡單易懂的各種語言範例程式，如Turbo C++、Borland C++、Microsoft C++、Visual C++、Borland Delphi、Borland C++ Builder、Visual Basic、Visual C#.NET、Visual Basic.NET、MATLAB及LabVIEW等，讓用戶能夠快速的上手來使用。 |
