ICP DAS PROFIBUS gateways can be used to implement the protocol conversion between PROFIBUS to Modbus and HART. So that users can easily to access the Modbus and HART devices by the PROFIBUS master through these gateways. For example, the GW-7552 device can achieve protocol conversion between PROFIBUS DP Slave to Modbus RTU/ASCII Master and Slave. The GW-7553 device can achieve protocol conversion both PROFIBUS DP Slave to Modbus RTU/ASCII Master & Slave and to Modbus TCP Server & Client. And the GW-7557 device can achieve protocol conversion between PROFIBUS DP Slave to HART Master. The propulsion system is the most important and complex part for ocean fishing vessels. It is composed of many electronic devices to control and monitor the engine speed, cooling system, residual fuel oil content, exhaust gas temperature, engine oil pressure, and so forth. Each of these devices may be handled by several PLCs via the different communication interfaces. Beverage manufacturers use flowmeters whose communication interface of flowmeter is HART to monitor flow production line. However, the other end communication interface of main controller is PROFIBUS.
