Product Change Notice: HART-710 (Modbus/RTU & ASCII to HART gateway) new functions released V Simple HART command supported
The HART-710 is a HART Gateway that supports Modbus and HART protocols. It allows the Modbus Master to access the HART Slave devices. These HART devices may be a transmitter, an actuator, a current output device and so forth. HART-710 has been successfully solving the inconvenience of the required conversion between Modbus and HART. In order to meet more users requirements, ICP DAS releases the new application program for the HART-710. It provides simple HART command supported. By using simple HART command, the user can get variables of HART devices easily and show data directly on the users HMI or SCADA software (please refer to How to map HART data directly to SCADA or HMI ? for detail ).
Simple HART command working requirements:
1. The HMI or SCADA must support floating point format (IEEE 754 specification is used).
2. The firmware version of HART-710 should be version 1.3 or later version.
3. The utility (HG_Tool) version of HART-710 should be version 1.2 or later version.
