The ICP DASs 2G GSM/GPRS M2M(Machine to Machine) wireless mini programmable controller, G-4500 series, are widely used and popular in the automation fields. Now ICP DAS formally releases the 3G versions of G-4500-3GWA series built-in a Tri-band 3G module to support both 3G (UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA) and 2G (GSM, GPRS) systems for M2M applications which need more efficient communication and can be achieved roaming the world's 3G WCMDA and GSM system. With a powerful processor to optimize performance on advanced broadband data networks, the G-4500-3GWA series can be widely applied in various M2M applications like hydrographic monitoring, intelligent power, flow meter report system and GPS car-tracking system via GSM or 3G network.

In traditional application, users need a master controller to integrate a telecommunication modem with developing cellular programs into the host. That would waste much time to integrate the various communication interfaces. Now, we have G-4500 series to solve the hardware integration problems with easy-to-used libraries. The G-4500 series built-in MiniOS7 provide the same development environment with I-7188/I-7186 series. It is easier for I-7188/I-7186 users to apply to M2M applications.
