The IR-712 is a new universal IR learning remote module from ICP DAS, which is developed specially for the less remote controlled appliances in some intelligent HA/BA applications to provide more flexible applications in consideration of the deployment and cost. By inheriting all the properties of the IR-210, IR-712 can learn IR remote commands of diverse electronic devices. The learning results can be stored in the module or saved to a file. The IR-712 supplies 2 IR output channels for individual or simultaneous control on multiple devices. The accompanied RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces with Modbus/RTU protocol provide an easy way of remote control by the Modbus master devices which can be PC, PLC and ICPDASs PACs, etc. As a replacement of conventional IR remote controls, IR-712 is well-suited for smart home and building automation.
