ICP DAS is glad to announce our WISE controller wins the Taiwan Excellence Award again. In previous year, the innovative WISE-7901 controller has been honored the Taiwan Excellence Awards in 2011. This year we proudly announces WISE-5800 was chosen from among 1,145 products to receive the prestigious 20th Taiwan Excellence Award (2012).

Taiwan Excellence Award is an official award set by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs which is a symbol of excellence for Taiwan's most well-designed, best quality, and highly-innovative products. This award explicitly states the fact that ICP DAS continues to lead the way in superior expertise, product quality and depth of R&D in Industrial Automation products field.

The WISE-5800 is an innovative PAC Controller that is equipped with various functions such as web-based operation, logic control editing, alarm message notification and data logger in an All-in-One platform. Based on simple, easy-to-use, no-programming-required product concepts, users dont need to write any program; by using WISE-5800s user-friendly and intuitive web site interface, it takes only a few mouse clicks away to implement the IF-THEN-ELSE control logic on controllers. In addition to merits inherited from previous WISE series, WISE-5800 even provides more supports in I/O functions. It allows to connecting with a wide range of XW-Boards, I-7000 remote I/O modules and Modbus RTU Slave devices. This enhancement makes it easier and more flexible when performing integration or expansion of the I/O devices in order to meet various requirements in different industrial automation applications. With the microSD card, WISE-5800 provides Data Logger function to real-time record the I/O data of the controller by Period recording or Event-Trigger recording and send the data files by FTP or Email to the control center for further administration management or data analysis. In addition, to meet the increasing demands to achieve carbon emissions reduction, WISE-5800 is low power consumption (2.0W) - a green product that meet energy saving requirements.
