The PISO-P8R8U card is the new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance and the new PISO-P8R8U card is designed as a drop-in replacement for the PISO-P8R8 series. Users can directly use the new PISO-P8R8U card without modifying their software and wiring.

The PISO-P8R8U supports 3.3 V/5 V PCI Bus and contains 8 photo coupler digital inputs that provide 5000 Vrms isolation protection and allows the input signals to be completely floated so as to prevent ground loops noise. They are also equipped with 8 relay output channels to enable the control of the ON/OFF state of external devices, drive external relays or small power switches, or activate alarmsKetc.

The PISO-P8R8U also contains a Card ID switch. Users can set Card ID on a board and recognize the board by the ID via software when using two or more PISO-P8R8U cards in one computer.

The PISO-P8R8U supports various OS such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7 32/64-Bit. It also provides the DLL, Active X control, and various language sample programs of Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, Visual C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET, MATLAB and LabVIEW to help users to quickly and easily develop their applications.
