Industrial Tri-band 3G WCDMA module
In recent years, ICP DAS is concentrating on developing M2M (Machine to Machine) technology and has provided various M2M products. Especially in the G-4500 series, GT-5XX series and GTM-201 series, they are widely praised in the market. For integrating the 3G wireless M2M applications in PAC series easily, we release the new industrial Tri-band WCDMA module- I-8212W-3GWA. It supports UMTS 2100/1900/850 MHz and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, utilizing the 3G/2G network for convenient and inexpensive data transfer from remote instruments, meters, computers or control systems in either live data or packet data acquisition.
The module has the general modem function and the integrated TCP/IP stacks. That can easily help PAC series to have the internet and SMS applications through 3G/2G network such as Vending machine monitoring system, security systems and remote data acquisition.
The module supports all kinds of PAC platform in ICP DAS, such as XPAC-8000(Windows Embedded Standard 2009), WinPAC-8000/ViewPAC (WinCE 5.0 Based), iPAC-8000 (miniOS7 Based) and LinPAC-8000 (Linux kernel 2.6 based). Users can choose their favorite platform to develop programs. It will bring the best benefit for the function of 3G/2G when the module collocates with PAC series.
